REACH update and POP regulation and other relevant updates (Softline)

The REACH and the POPs regulations set numerous restrictions concerning harmful substances in articles. Complying with these requirements is essential. Non-compliance leads to sales stops, product recalls, fines and is subject to criminal prosecution in some EU countries.
The REACH and the POPs regulations are amended frequently. Currently, the ECHA proposal to restrict the whole class of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) is in the comment phase.
The webinar will give an overview on the chemical directives and regulations that concerns consumer products. It will further outline which restrictions by the REACH and POP regulations came into enforcement recently and which restrictions can be expected in near future. A central topic will be the ECHA proposal on PFAS, what will happen in the consultation phase before the proposal will become a legal requirement,  which consequences it may have when it will become applicable and which measure should already taken now with regard to upcoming requirements.
