Following the acquisition of 100 per cent of the shares in the Dutch rail inspection and certification organisation in 2013, the change in the company's name now marks the final step of the company's integration into TÜV SÜD's Business Unit Rail.
"The successful integration of Railcert B.V. into TÜV SÜD's Business Unit Rail has further strengthened our position as market leader in EC conformity assessments and EC certification in Europe", says Klaus Bosch, Business Unit Manager Rail at the TÜV SÜD Group. "The change in name now emphasizes that our Dutch colleagues are part of the global TÜV SÜD network." The change of the name will not have any impact for our customers. "We are still focused on serving the entire European market with our EC conformity assessment and EC certification services and, in particular, the Dutch market with our inspection and certification services ", explains Marco Fois, CEO of TÜV SÜD Nederland B.V.
