Hand in hand with the successful investments done in the automotive industry for the last two years e.g. the dynamic component testing (DYCOT) laboratory and passive safety testing laboratory in Czech Republic and in order to support further growth TÜV SÜD decided to strengthen and launch operations of a new testing lab for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for the automotive industry in the laboratory in Mladá Boleslav in Czech Republic. New operations were launched in January 2018.
The new workplace meets the latest standards and the highest legal and customer requirements in the field of component testing. Thanks to this investment the EMC lab enhances the complexity of our locally provided services.
"I am really glad that we are able to tackle new trends in the automotive sector in time and thus to be able to meet our customers’ latest needs with our technology,” said Jiří Socha, Head of the TÜV SÜD Czech Auto Service Division.
The automotive industry is going through record boom in the Czech Republic and in Europe this year. In order to sustain momentum car manufacturers, need to develop new models and innovative approaches while constantly cutting costs. Effective methods such as simulations and non-destructive tests help them to achieve their short and long term goals.
With DYCOT, ALIS and the new EMC lab TÜV SÜD is able to meet the most challenging customer needs. Thus, TÜV SÜD is more and more becoming a reliable yet neutral partner already from the car development phase on.
