The consumer IoT market is growing at an exponential pace. Smart devices are on the rise capable of making our lives easier and more convenient. Tasks are getting more automated, and devices are increasingly connected.
Although becoming more popular, many IoT devices are not sufficiently protected against cyberattacks. Security requirements for consumer IoT devices have been defined and regulations are being established in all major markets. Knowledge of global requirements becomes not only relevant to ensure resilience against cyberthreats, but also becomes critical in reaching market acceptance and approval.
This webinar, presented by Sven Nowak, will provide insights into recent and future regulations and standards in the US and globally and explain basic security requirements from standards such as NISTIR 8259 and ETSI EN 303 645.
