As countries across the world aim to meet Net-Zero greenhouse emissions obligations by 2050, COP26, a global climate change conference, was held in Glasgow in November 2021 to support and accelerate change.
During the COP26 conference, key topics such as how to accelerate the global transition to clean energy and how to drive the global transition to zero emission transport were discussed.
Running alongside the COP26 event, TÜV SÜD hosted an Open House event on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at its facilities in East Kilbride to discuss key flow measurement issues in industry focused on clean energy.
The session included a special edition of the Measurement Focus Group where we presented the findings from some of our BEIS-funded clean fuels research relating to both hydrogen and carbon capture utilization and storage, both of which will be playing a role in aiming to combat climate change.
