Greg Bates Returns to Global Risk Consultants as Vice President of Risk Engineering Services

Wakefield, Massachusetts, USA - January 25, 2024 | We are pleased to announce that Greg Bates has returned to Global Risk Consultants, a TÜV SÜD company, to serve as Vice President of Risk Engineering Services. In this role, Greg will report to Jim Marsh, CEO and President of Global Risk Consultants. The division’s Global Business Development team will report to Greg.

For the past three years, Greg served as the Director of Business Assurance for the Americas region of TÜV SÜD. Previously, Greg spent 16 years with Global Risk Consultants in various engineering, account management, client relationship, and leadership roles. His ability to view issues from the lens of an engineer and client relationship leader offers a unique perspective to GRC.

Greg has worked in the risk engineering and loss control field for more than 18 years. His career began at FM Global as an Engineering Consultant with a focus on windstorms and other natural hazard assessments. Throughout his career, Greg has spoken at numerous conferences on loss control and risk engineering.

Greg is married with three kids (one boy and two girls). He resides in Johns Creek, Georgia. Greg enjoys tennis, golf, hiking, and most outdoor sports. He gets the most joy out of coaching his kids’ sports and traveling with his family.
