MoU signed between TÜV SÜD Korea and KATIA

 

On September 23, 2020, TÜV SÜD Korea and Korea Auto Tuning Industry Association (KATIA) signed a MoU for cooperation in the field of domestic and overseas approval tests and certification for tuning cars and tuning parts.

 

MoU Korea and KATIA

The two organizations agreed on Korean local and overseas approval tests and certificate issuance for tuning cars and parts, mutual information exchange in the regard of domestic and overseas tuning, joint research on technical inspection standards and certification system for tuning products, joint development and execution of training programs.

KATIA certifies the quality of tuning automobiles and tuning parts in Korea, including LED module lamps, braking devices, suspension devices, intake and exhaust devices, and safety convenience devices. With the cooperation with TÜV SÜD Korea, KATIA is able to build a foundation of global market access of local tuning parts manufacturers.
