With over a decade of experience in laboratory and quality management, Shannon Carver plays a key role in shaping the quality systems at TÜV SÜD’s Microbiology, Biocompatibility, Chemistry, and Packaging labs in our Medical Device Testing Center of Excellence in New Brighton, MN. She joined the newly launched facility to build and maintain a robust Quality Management System that meets all regulatory requirements for microbiology, biocompatibility, chemical characterization, and packaging testing.
Before joining TÜV SÜD, Shannon spent over nine years at a reputable medical device manufacturer, advancing through multiple roles from Associate Chemist to Senior Microbiologist, ultimately becoming Quality Systems Manager.
She leads a team of Quality Engineers who support microbiology, biocompatibility, product stability, chemistry, and chemical characterization testing. She now applies that experience to ensure TÜV SÜD’s processes are consistent, compliant, and ready to meet global regulatory expectations.
With a background in multiple technical scientist roles, I bring a distinctive combination of scientific knowledge and quality expertise to the table. This allows me to assess quality risks effectively while also understanding the technical reasoning behind methods, investigations, and decisions. Our customers can trust that we are not only meeting regulatory requirements but consistently delivering results to the highest industry standards.
