Internships: deep insights and a valuable addition to your studies

With an internship at TÜV SÜD, you can enrich your studies with a wide range of practical experience dealing with demanding tasks. In addition to exciting projects, you will also get to know the structures and business processes of an internationally operating group.

The duration of an internship at TÜV SÜD varies according to the individual situation, university syllabus and legal situation in a country, but is always at least eight weeks. The content and focus of the internship will vary depending on the business unit and will take your individual skills and interests into account as far as possible. We take our interns and their needs very seriously and it is important to us that the placement be a real learning experience for you.

There is also the possibility of doing an internship abroad. For such opportunities, you should apply directly to the respective national companies. Overseas internships that are supervised from Germany are generally only possible if you have already worked for us in Germany.

Working students: taking part rather than just observing

Gain inspiration for your future professional life and lay the foundation for your career as a TÜV SÜD-paid working student. Take on real responsibility before you even graduate and challenge yourself professionally as well as personally. We will actively involve you in current projects and day-to-day business with experienced experts. By being integrated into our operational business units, you will develop a deeper understanding of business processes in corporate structures, always with our support.

Working hours, duration of placement and salary for working students depend on the location of the placement and are agreed upon individually with the respective department. In Germany, for example, working hours are not to exceed 20 hours per week during the semester. To be eligible for a TÜV SÜD working student placement, you must have already completed three semesters of study and have some practical experience, for example from an internship.

Final theses at TÜV SÜD: a passion for research meets a wealth of experience

When it comes to your final thesis, that last hurdle before getting your diploma, your curiosity and our experience can become an unbeatable combination.
