Can you describe your role at TÜV SÜD?
I am the Business Development Engineer and Account Executive. I have almost 30 yeas of Engineering support and Technical Sales experience. I enjoy helping startups with their first conformity project as well as managing large corporate clients.

What is your favorite thing about working at TÜV SÜD?
I appreciate that TUV SUD is recognized and trusted brand, and every person in the lab carries that knowledge with high esteem.      

What are you most excited about for the future of TÜV SÜD?
Even if TÜV SÜD in Ottawa started as a Telecom center of excellence, the lab is investing in next generation customers focused on transport, robotics, industrial controls and medical.

Trusted Brand, Customer Focus, Technical Expertise

Describe your relationship with customers.

I adapt to the specific needs of the customer, depending on their knowledge of the standards. The first step is listening and understanding their needs. Every customer is unique.

Name something that makes what you do at TÜV SÜD unique or valued to the customer.

Before answering their question, I take time to understand their project as the solution must fit their needs. As Steven Covey once said “Seek first to understand before being understood”.
