Can you describe your role at TÜV SÜD?
I am the Test Engineer in the Thermal Lab. I manage all aspects of our temperature, humidity, and vibration chambers, including test scheduling and quoting, report writing, and serving as the primary customer contact for thermal tests.

What is your favorite thing about working at TÜV SÜD?
I welcome the challenge of managing various thermal test chambers and other equipment, along with the necessary lab maintenance. Additionally, I enjoy building relationships with our customers and learning about the diverse products they bring for testing.      

What are you most excited about for the future of TÜV SÜD?
I’m looking forward to the growth and development of our facilities, including the addition of new test chambers, and expanding our capabilities to offer even more to our customers.

What are 3 words that you’d use to describe TÜV SÜD?
Integrity, Expertise, Precision

Tell us about a project that you’ve worked on that you’re proud of.
Figuring out the control tuning requirements of the new HALT test chamber was both challenging and fun.

Describe your relationship with customers.
Every customer relationship is unique according to their project scope. I strive to treat each customer professionally, interacting promptly to meet their testing needs and schedules.

What is your history/industry experience?
I am an electrical engineer with over 10 years of experience in various laboratory test environments.

Name something that makes what you do at TÜV SÜD unique or valued to the customer.
Ensuring the lab is always operational and ready for customers, efficiently managing their testing schedules, and treating each customer with equal importance.

• What was the last tv show you binged on?
  Star Trek
• Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us.
  I consider myself a boring person if that might surprise you. However, I do have a passion for cars and enjoy working on my older cars, fixing them myself, and learning a few things in the process.
• Which historical figure would you like to meet and why?
  I would like to meet an unknown prehistoric ancestor of mine if time travel were possible. This would be more valuable beyond meeting any known historical figure.
