Can you describe your role at TÜV SÜD?
I am the Product Safety/Project Engineer, responsible for handling all aspects of the project, such as defining the project scope, providing quotes, creating schedules, developing test plans, writing reports, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers.

What is your favorite thing about working at TÜV SÜD?
I enjoy the new challenges as well as the ongoing relationship with my customers. I interact with my customers on a daily basis regarding all current and future programs.      

What are you most excited about for the future of TÜV SÜD?
I am thrilled about the future growth opportunities for TÜV SÜD in Ottawa. The lab has made significant investments to add a new EMC chamber and enhance product safety capabilities to comply with additional standards.

Technical competence, Quality, Customer satisfaction

Tell us about a project that you’ve worked on that you’re proud of.
The standout project in my career is the safety testing and certification of the Ultra-High Sensitivity Analyzer for a leading industry brand. This endeavor presented a unique set of challenges, including navigating an intricate system and adhering to strict timelines. My unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and uncompromising quality ensured that we not only met our goals but also delivered the project ahead of schedule. This experience highlights our dedication to excellence and positions us as a trusted partner in the field of product safety certification.

Describe your relationship with customers.
I engage with customers daily, fostering a collaborative spirit that ensures I understand and meet their unique requirements. By partnering closely with clients, I create tailored solutions that drive success and exceed expectations. Client’s goals are our commitment!

What is your history/industry experience?
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with over 8 years of experience in product safety testing and certification.

I oversee all phases of projects from beginning to end, effectively multitasking and consistently embracing new challenges while collaborating closely with my team.

  I possess two years of experience as a lecturer at an engineering college.
• Which historical figure would you like to meet and why?
  Kalpana Chawla has always fascinated me, especially when it comes to space and astronauts. In 1997, she embarked on her first journey into Space, serving as a mission specialist and the primary operator of the robotic arm.
