What is the recruitment process at TÜV SÜD like?
Once you discover a job posting at TÜV SÜD that interests you, please apply using our online recruitment system. When your application is received, it will be carefully considered by both the People department and the corresponding hiring department. If approved, you will be invited to a first job interview. Depending on the target position and career level, you might also be invited to at least one more job interview and to do further selection steps such as going through an assessment centre. The number of interviews and your interviewers are carefully chosen and depend on the job level and position needs.

Are all of the published job postings still vacant?
To the best of our abilities, we try to ensure all our job postings are up to date, but there may be a possibility that a position might be closing just as you are applying for it.
In this case, we will of course inform you about the job closing and you can decide whether to delete your profile or become part of our talent pool. We will then be reviewing your profile again for other positions that might be a good match for you. In your candidate profile you can see at any time if we transferred your application to another open position. You can also update your profile and make relevant additions to your application for the new opening in your account. Of course, you can also choose to withdraw your application if the position is not interesting to you.

I am already registered in the recruiting system – how can I access and change my data?
If you are already registered at our job portal, you can login using the option “Sign In”. Here you can access and change your data or withdraw your applications using the “Jobs Applied” section in your account.
Are there technical restrictions when using the recruiting system?
At the moment, these are the web browsers that are supported by our system: Microsoft Internet Explorer (9-11), Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome. Web browser versions other than the ones listed above might not be fully supported and their functionality limited.
While using our recruitment system, pop-up windows might appear. To ensure the correct use of the system functionalities, please temporarily disable the pop-up blocker of your web browser and activate java script. For attachments to your application, the following file formats are accepted by our system: DOCX, PDF, Image and Text (MSG, PPT and XLS file types are not accepted for resume or cover letters).
The recruitment system can provide some information in .pdf file format. Therefore, the latest version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader is recommended. You can download the latest version of the Acrobat Reader at www.adobe.com.
During the application process, you will receive emails triggered by the system to update you on your application status. These emails may end up in your spam folder. Therefore, please check your spam folder if required.

Can I delete my profile?
Yes you can. If you do not want to be considered for any positions within the TÜV SÜD Group anymore, you can delete your profile by logging in to our job portal and accessing “Candidate Profile/ Account”. After logging in, select “Options” in the top right-hand corner and then choose “Settings.” There you will find the “Delete Profile” button. Click on it and confirm by selecting “Delete all data.”
How do I know whether TÜV SÜD has received my application?
You will receive a confirmation email from the recruitment system upon submitting the application. The emails sent by the system may end up in your spam folder. Hence, please check your spam folder if required.
What can I do if I forgot my username or password?
In case you forgot your username or password, you can use the “Forgot your password” function available in the section “View Profile” on our job portal.

Can I be notified when new jobs are available?
Yes, you can receive job alerts. To set the job alert feature, you need to login to our recruitment system and define the types of roles you would like to receive alerts for.
To enable automatic email notifications or to view and manage job profiles, please proceed as follows: In your candidate profile, located in the top right-hand corner, select “Options” and open the drop-down menu. Click on “Job Alerts”. You will then have access to the email notification feature and the various job profiles.
How can I share jobs with friends?
For each job advertisement you can copy the job URL and share it with your friends.
Who will have access to my data?
The visibility of your data is set by yourself at application stage. If you limit the visibility, some recruiters will not be able to assess your profile for other suitable roles.
Can I restrict the access to my data?
During the application process, you have the option to restrict the visibility of your data so that it is accessible only to recruiters handling the specific positions you apply for.
