Is there any general advice for applying at TÜV SÜD?

How can I apply at TÜV SÜD?
To apply at TÜV SÜD, you must register through our recruitment system. This is necessary to ensure fast and effective processing of your application. Therefore, it is unfortunately not possible to apply by post or mail. We apologize for any inconvenience.
How long does it take to apply?
The application process is straightforward and typically takes no more than 5 minutes. When registering for the first time, you'll be asked to upload your CV, create a secure password, and enter some basic personal details. This one-time setup ensures your profile is complete and allows you to apply more easily in the future.
What kinds of data are needed for applying?
To successfully process your application, we require only a few essential details: your name, email address, and CV. During your first registration, you’ll also be asked to create a secure password and provide basic contact information such as your phone number and country/region. You may optionally upload a cover letter and choose your visibility preferences for recruiters. Additional information – such as education, work experience, or certifications – can be added later in your candidate profile. Are general / unsolicited applications accepted?

Yes, if unsolicited job postings are published on our job portal, you are of course welcome to apply for them. Please note that unsolicited postings are not available on our job portal at all times.

To submit an unsolicited application, simply create a profile in our application portal and upload your CV. Your profile will be added to our global talent pool. You can decide for yourself how visible your data is, and you may make changes to your candidate profile at any time.

In general, applications for specifically advertised positions have a higher chance of success. We therefore recommend checking the job portal on our website regularly, as new positions are posted on a frequent basis.

Can I save my application and complete it at a later date?
Yes, you can do this if you apply via the candidate account. You may log in to your account subsequently to submit the draft of your application which can be found in the section “Jobs Applied”. For the Quick apply option it does not work – you need to apply at that moment, or the data added will not be saved.
Can I submit several applications at the same time?
Yes, you can. As soon as you create an account in our recruitment system you can easily apply for as many jobs as you like without having to add your data once more. You can choose to update or edit your profile for every single job in your “Candidate Profile”.
Who can I contact concerning a specific job advertisement?
For questions or inquiries concerning a specific job advertisement you can contact the responsible recruiting team mentioned in the job posting or on the local career page. In terms of general questions and inquiries regarding the recruitment system, please contact [email protected].
When will I get feedback regarding my application?
As soon as you submit your application, you will receive an email confirming its receipt. If your application is being considered, you will be able to track its status by logging into our recruitment system and reviewing the section “Jobs Applied”. Our People department carefully assesses each application to make a preliminary decision.
I am disabled. Will I be supported during the application process?
If you have a disability or specific needs, we are committed to supporting you throughout the application process. For example, we can provide barrier-free interview locations or other accommodations as needed. If you would like to request assistance, please contact the local recruiting team.
