TÜV SÜD PSB previously known as PSB Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of TÜV SÜD AG. With a sterling record of over 50 years, TÜV SÜD PSB over the years has worked with companies across sectors to help them achieve business excellence. About TÜV SÜD in IBP

TÜV SÜD in Singapore is located at its S$100 million hub in 15 International Business Park (IBP). As the company’s first major real estate investment outside of Germany, the flagship office boasts state-of-the-art technologies and showcases a range of testing, inspection, auditing and certification services.

The integrated office and lab facility span 18,900 square metres in the heart of the Jurong Lake District, a commercial hub being shaped as Singapore’s second Central Business District.

The eight-storey building has the latest technologies to ensure energy efficiency and sustainability in accordance with the Building and Construction Authority's (BCA) Green Mark Platinum standard. Aside from offering an open-office concept, TÜV SÜD @ IBP provides employees with facilities such as a gym with fitness programmes, lush green working spaces and rooftop gardens, and connectivity to the Jurong Park Connector. The building is specifically designed keeping in mind employee engagement, productivity and wellbeing. This facility is expected to be able to house 700 employees.

Energy efficiency

The facility is energy efficient with the utilisation of M&E design that provides up to 50% energy savings over 1 Science Park Drive premises.

Air change optimisation

The building’s design creates air change optimisation across laboratory floors and office floors, with the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) energy being reduced from 70% to 40%.

Flexi-desking and Green commute

Flexi desking is used to facilitate enhanced efficiency, collaboration and autonomy. Employees are even encouraged to opt for greener commutes, which can be accommodated by bicycle/personal mobility device (PMD) lots and electric vehicle charging stations.

The overall building received BCA’s Green Mark Gold (for New Non-Residential Buildings).

Biometric Security and RFID Tagging

Throughout the building innovative security and access systems implemented such as facial recognition for building access, laboratory access via smart phones, sensor detection within 10 metres to name a few. To facilitate the tracking of equipment during the move, RFID tagging for tracking assets is put in place which increases efficiency and saves time.

Certified construction materials and Digital QC during construction

All construction material and equipment (e.g. concrete doors, façade, cables, etc.) are TÜV SÜD tested and / or certified, and construction quality control is ensured by applying Real Estate and Infrastructure Building Testing and Inspection (RI BTI) digital enriched services.

 
Building Information Modelling (BIM)

TÜV SÜD’s Building Information Modeling Management (BIM) is used for the facility’s base build and fit-out, together with the Facility Management model.


Smart Lifts and IoT technologies

TÜV SÜD’s current lift advisory services and Smart Lifts technologies are incorporated throughout the building resulting in smooth management and monitoring of lift operation.
