COVID – Increase employee confidence in returning to work with our short e-learning course

As more employees return to the workplace, it’s vital that hygiene remains a priority to ensure that COVID doesn’t spread through your business. Some employees have anxiety about their return so it’s important to give them confidence that you’re providing a safe workplace.

It’s essential to keep the workplace clean to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through touching contaminated surfaces. Now is a good time to review cleaning procedures to ensure that work areas and equipment are cleaned between uses.

  • Frequently clean objects and surfaces that people regularly touch such as door handles and keyboards.
  • Provide standard cleaning products for the workplace and provide adequate disposal arrangements for used products.
  • Provide somewhere for people to wash their hands.
  • Make hand sanitiser available in multiple accessible locations, as well as washrooms.
  • Keeping the facilities well ventilated such as ensuring any mechanical ventilation systems work effectively and opening windows and vents where possible.

    Display posters to remind people:

  • how to wash their hands well and that they should frequently wash them.
  • that they should try not to touch their face.
  • to cough or sneeze into a tissue which should be binned safely, or into their arms if a tissue is not available.

You can help alleviate worries and reduce staff absence due to sickness and self-isolation by educating your staff about these measures. It’s important not to become complacent so now is a good time to remind people of their responsibilities. By completing our short Hygiene and Infection Protection for Office Workers E-Learning course, your employees will learn about the paths of infection of the coronavirus and how to prevent infection.
