ISO 21448 Training Course (SOTIF) including Certification for “SOTIF Engineer” - English
The training program for ISO 21448 – Safety of the Intended Functionality (SOTIF) – provides a comprehensive understanding of the implementation of the standard and its relationship to ISO 26262. It includes illustrative examples and short exercises.
Upon successful completion of the course and exam, a certificate is issued that certifies the participant’s knowledge in the field of SOTIF. With this certificate, you can be listed in our Functional Safety Certification Program (FSCP). This offers you the best opportunity to demonstrate your competence according to ISO 21448.
Day 1 Topics:
- Relationship and connection between SOTIF (ISO 21448) and Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
- Combining objectives and work products with the examples provided in the standard
- Outlining strategies to support arguments regarding SOTIF
Day 2 Topics:
- Introduction to SOTIF and its terminology
- Reasons why you should implement SOTIF
- In-depth study of the topic: SOTIF (ISO 21448) and Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
- Overview of the system lifecycle including the work products of ISO 21448
- Exam for the “SOTIF Engineer”
Safety engineers, system developers, sensor and component developers, test engineers, and all those responsible for creating work products to fulfill the objectives of ISO 21448.
You already have experience in Functional Safety projects and possess basic knowledge of ISO 26262.
