Functional Safety Agriculture and Forestry - ISO 25119 - English
This 3-day training program on ISO 25119 – Tractors and Machinery for Agriculture and Forestry – Safety-Related Parts of Control Systems offers you a comprehensive understanding of this series of standards and its relationship with other safety standards.
The training covers topics from Functional Safety Management, System, Hardware, and Software Design, including functional safety activities after the start of production (SOP). Through interactive examples and exercises, the knowledge gained is applied and practiced during the course.

Day 1:
- Introduction to Functional Safety and its background
- Terms and definitions from ISO 25119
- Functional Safety Management and supporting processes
- Exercise: Requirements for the Safety Plan
Day 2:
- Unit under Observation (UoO)
- Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA)
- Performance Level in Agriculture (AgPL)
- Functional Safety Concept (FSC)
- Exercise: UoO, HARA, and FSC for a steering function with steering assistance
Day 3:
- Requirements for hardware development
- Requirements for software development
- Software partitioning with different types of microcontrollers
This training is aimed at managers and engineers seeking a general overview of the requirements and insight into specific relevant aspects of ISO 25119.
There are no prerequisites for attending this training. Prior experience in functional safety is advantageous.
