Automotive Safety Analyst - Complete package - English
As a supplement to the existing training courses on functional safety in accordance with ISO 26262 2nd Edition (modules 1 to 4) the participants will receive in-depth training on safety-related analyzes here. This training explains the application of the Dependent Failure Analysis (DFA) in connection with the Functional Safety Lifecycle according to ISO 26262 with regard to normative requirements and practical recommendations.
It is specifically aimed at those involved in safety analyzes that are required in the course of safety-related development.
DFA training is devided in two blocks, module 5 and module 6. Please find detailled information below.
- Contents Module 5:
- Introduction and overview of this training module
- Foundations for safety and dependent failure analyses in the context of ISO 26262
- Qualitative FMEAs in the context of functional safety
- Results of the FMEA for the DFA
- Foundations of qualitative fault tree analysis
- Interfaces between FMEAs and FTA
- Results of the qualitative FTA for the DFA
- Qualitative safety analyses in the overall contextContents Module 6:
- Introduction and overview of this training module
- Foundations for quantitative FMEA and dependent failure analyses in the context of ISO 26262
- Quantitative FMEDAs in the context of functional safety
- Results of the FMEDA for the DFA
- Foundations of quantitative fault tree analysis
- Data for the quantitative FTA
- Evaluation of the quantitative FTA
- Summary of the quantitative safety analysis
- This training explains the application of the Dependent Failure Analysis (DFA) in the context of the Functional Safety Lifecycle according to ISO 26262 with regard to normative requirements and practical recommendations.
- Qualitative inductive analyses are deepened with a focus on the required automotive FMEAs, as well as qualitative deductive analyses with a focus on the FTA application.
- Quantitative inductive analyses will be practised in this training with a focus on hardware FMEDA and quantitative deductive analyses with an emphasis on the quantitative FTA.
Managers, Safety Managers, Software Developers, Hardware Developers, Project Managers, Quality Managers, Test Engineers and all users of ISO 26262 who focus on the development of programmable electronic components and/or safety systems and participate in safety analyses.
Prior knowledge: The basics of ISO 26262 must be known and proven (e.g. by participating in appropriate training courses by TUV SUD).
- The lecture language is English as standard.
- The presentation slides and participant documents for this training are written in English only.
