Automotive Safety Analyst - Functional Safety Expert - English
Our Functional Safety Certification Program (FSCP) offers professionals the opportunity to certify their expertise in safety analysis within the framework of ISO 26262. As an employer, you gain verification that your employees who pass the Functional Safety Expert exam are qualified to take on key roles in the safety lifecycle.
To register for the Functional Safety Expert exam, proof of certain prerequisites is required (see below). Please fill out the registration form completely and submit it for review.
- By earning the Functional Safety Expert certificate, you demonstrate that you can effectively apply safety-related analyses according to ISO 26262 Part 9.
- You understand how to interpret and combine results from FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA, and how to conduct Dependent Failure Analysis (DFA) correctly and in compliance with requirements.
- The certification gives you a competitive career advantage in the automotive industry.
This certification is designed for:
Safety Managers, Software Developers, Hardware Developers, Project Managers, and all professionals applying ISO 26262 who are involved in the development, review, or execution of safety analyses for programmable electronic safety systems.
- 10 years of industry experience in functional safety
- Proven responsibility in 2 safety-related projects
The following degrees in electrical engineering or related fields may be credited as industry experience:
- Bachelor’s degree: credited with 2 years
- Master’s degree: credited with 3 years
- Ph.D.: credited with 4 years
