中國China：工信部發布超寬帶（UWB）設備無線電管理暫行規定

2024年4月29日，中國工業和信息化部（工信部）發布公告，概述《超寬帶（UWB）設備無線電管理暫行規定》。

本規定所稱超寬帶（UWB）無線電發射設備，是指發射信號帶寬（-10dB 帶寬）不少於 500MHz 的無線電發射設備。該類設備主要應用於短距離高速無線數據通信、定位、測距及感知等領域，使用頻率範圍為 7163–8812MHz。

本規定適用於超寬帶（UWB）無線電發射設備的研製、生產、進口、銷售和使用。凡在國內生產或進口並於國內銷售、使用的超寬帶（UWB）無線電發射設備，均須符合《超寬帶（UWB）無線電發射設備技術要求》，並向國家無線電管理機構申請無線電發射設備型號核准。

本規定自 2025年8月1日 起施行，同時廢止《關於超寬帶（UWB）技術頻率使用規定的通知》（工信部無〔2008〕354號）。

China: MIIT Issues Interim Regulations on UWB Equipment Radio Management

On April 29, 2024, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued an announcement outlining the Interim Regulations on the Radio Management of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Equipment.

According to the regulations, Ultra-Wideband (UWB) radio transmitting equipment refers to devices with a transmitted signal bandwidth of no less than 500 MHz (measured at -10 dB bandwidth). These devices are primarily applied in short-range high-speed wireless data communication, positioning, ranging, and sensing, operating in the frequency range of 7163–8812 MHz.

The regulations apply to the development, manufacturing, importation, sale, and use of UWB radio transmitting equipment. Any UWB equipment produced or imported for domestic sale and use must comply with the Technical Requirements for UWB Radio Transmitting Equipment and obtain Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval from the national radio regulatory authority.

The new regulations will take effect on August 1, 2025, at which time the previous Notice on the Regulations for the Use of UWB Technology Frequencies (MIIT [2008] No. 354) will be repealed.
