TÜV SÜD supports Electric Bus by Wisdom (Fujian) Motor to obtain WVTA certificate, accelerating the Company's Entry into EU market

TÜV SÜD recently has granted the Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA) certificate to Wisdom (Fujian) Motor Co., Ltd for its electric bus (model: WSD6120BL1EV). The certificate shows that the bus fully meets relevant requirements of the Regulation (EU) 2018/858, laying a solid foundation for the company's accelerated entry into the EU market.

The latest Vehicle Type Approval Framework Technical Regulations (EU) 2018/858 came into force on 1 September 2020, which repeals a number of EC Directives, expands the scope of application of some UNECE regulations, and revises the type approval process to improve vehicle safety and reliability. By provide a full range of guidance and complete vehicle export compliance solutions, TÜV SÜD, the important supporting bridge for international trade cooperation, has always been assisting Chinese commercial vehicle enterprises in expanding overseas markets through complying with technical specifications and safety requirements.

At the ceremony, Su Liqian, GM of Wisdom (Fujian) Motor expressed thanks for TÜV SÜD’s great effort on supporting the certification project and hoped that the two sides will deepen the bilateral cooperation in electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel heavy trucks to help all types of vehicles of Wisdom (Fujian) Motor successfully enter the international markets like Europe, America and Australia.
