The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has recently listed1 six new chemicals under the Safe Drinking Water Enforcement Act of 1986, commonly known as “Proposition 65”, as known to the state to cause cancer. The warning requirement of these new chemicals will take effect one year after listing.
The six new chemicals are summarised in the following:
