Korea: Energy Efficiency Labelling Requirements and Standards on Clothes Dryers and Air Purifiers Amendment

On 3 September 2019, the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy published an amendment to the Regulation on Energy Efficiency Labelling and standards by adding a new product, clothes dryer. The amendment specifies the minimum energy efficiency requirements and rating criteria for the product. The amendment also expands the product scope to include large capacity air purifiers which are used in area of 200 square meter or less.
