Electrical Safety:

• According to the Decree 533 dated on 4 July 2018, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers approved changes to the Technical Regulations on low-voltage electrical equipment and electromagnetic compatibility.
• Ukraine Technical Regulation on Low-Voltage Equipment (LVD)
• The form of conformity is the Declaration of Conformity

EMC: 

• Ukraine Technical regulation on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
• The form of conformity is the Declaration of Conformity

Guidelines:

• Ukraine Technical Regulations are harmonised with the European Directives
• Applicant for the DoC LVD or DoC can be a manufacturer or an authorised representative of the foreign manufacturer in Ukraine
• DoC should be issued on the basis of test report that confirm the compliance of product with the applicable Ukraine TRs
• DoC is valid till the standards in the DoC are up-to-date

Applicable product categories:

Any equipment intended for use with a voltage rating of between 50V and 1000V for alternating current and between 75V and 1500V for direct current should comply with the TR. If the product does not include active electronic components, TR EMC is not applicable (for example - plugs, sockets, cord-set...).

Energy efficiency labelling:

• Ukraine Technical Regulation on Energy efficiency labelling
• The requirements for labelling are completely identical to the requirements of the European Union. The technical regulations of Ukraine are fully harmonised with the regulations of the European Union

Ecodesign:

• The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved several technical regulations on Ecodesign
• All these technical regulations are based on the relevant EU regulations

RoHS:

• In accordance with Decree #139 of the Council of Ministers of Ukraine, new RoHS requirements has gone into effect on 22 September 2017

Guidelines 

The Ukraine energy efficiency TR correspond to the regulation of the EU.

• Energy efficiency label in Ukrainian language
• Name or trademark of the supplier
• Energy efficiency class calculation
• Information in cases when the end-users cannot be expected to see the product displayed is equal to the relevant clauses in the EU Directive

New RoHS requirements are designed to align Ukraine's current Technical Regulations on RoHS with the latest European Directives 2011/65/EU and 2015/863. 

Applicable product categories

The scope of electrical and electronic equipment subject to energy efficiency label requirements will include following equipment types: Air conditioners, household drum dryers, vacuum cleaners, TVs, Lamps and luminaires, dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, household ovens, cooker hoods, water heaters, hot water storage tanks and packages of water heaters and solar devices.

Ecodesign regulation relate to the requirement for the following types of product: Electric power consumption in no-load condition and average active efficiency of external power supplies, fans, power transformers, glandless circulating pumps, water pumps, vacuum cleaners, simple set-top boxes, electric motors, household refrigerating appliances, lighting equipment, directional lamps, LED lamps and related equipment.

Air conditioners and comfort fans, fluorescent lamps without integrated ballast, high intensity discharge lamps and for ballasts and luminaires able to operate such lamps, household dishwashers (coming into force on 21 February 2020)

The scope of electrical and electronic equipment subject to RoHS requirements will include following equipment types:

• Automatic dispensers
• Consumer equipment
• Electrical and electronic tools
• IT and telecommunications equipment
• Lighting equipment
• Medical products (including medical products for diagnostics in vitro) monitoring and control instruments
• Other electrical and electronic equipment that does not fall under equipment listed above
• Small and large household appliances
• Toys, leisure and sports equipment
• Elevators designed for transporting people

REGULATIONS

• New Technical Regulation (TR) "On approval of the Technical Regulation on Radio Equipment" came into effect in Ukraine on April 2018.
• The products subject to TR "On approval of the Technical Regulation on Radio Equipment" will not require compliance with TR LVD and TR EMC. 
• The form of conformity is the Declaration of Conformity.
• After 1 April 2019, the radio equipment should be in accordance with the new TR.

GUIDELINES

• Applicant for the radio equipment should be an authorised representative of the foreign manufacturer in Ukraine.
• UA Technical regulation are identical to the equivalent EU Directives. 
• Test should be conducted in the accredited laboratory in Ukraine
• DoC is valid till the standards in the DoC are up-to-date

APPLICABLE PRODUCT CATEGORIES:

The following products fall into the exceptions:

• Custom-made kits used exclusively in scientific and research area
• Marine radio equipment
• Radio equipment used by amateurs
• Radio equipment used in aviation
