Course Description
Just a glance at the periodic table shows that hydrogen (H2) is a special chemical element. Therefore, it is no coincidence that it is a very important element for many technologies used today. With the energy transition to clean fuels, new challenges are appearing around hydrogen technology. If you're working with hydrogen, it's important to have an understanding of how hydrogen is produced, transported, stored and used as well as the typical risks and sources of danger related to hydrogen to be able to develop safety concepts.
As well, it’s recognised that hydrogen will play a key part in the decarbonising of our energy system across the world. This means manufacturers need to have a comprehensive understanding of hydrogen and be aware of various international regulations, codes and standards.
This program consists of a five-part training system for safe and proper handling of hydrogen.

Methodology
Instructor-led training in a virtual classroom. This means the course is Live Online. Participants will learn through online teaching. Lectures, case studies, group exercises, discussions, problem solving, examples with explanation, assignments and/or quizzes happen in the virtual classroom training. Participants need to connect to the class from any internet accessible location. Each module is delivered live using webinar technology, creating a virtual classroom learning environment. Live sessions provide you with direct access to the trainer so you can ask questions, understand complex concepts and share ideas with peers. Webcam and microphone are REQUIRED to interact with the instructor and/or other participants.
