The ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Training – Blended training course is a comprehensive learning program that combines the flexibility of self-paced eLearning with the depth and interaction of instructor-led virtual training. This blended format is ideal for professionals who want to build a strong foundation in ISO 9001:2015 requirements while developing practical internal auditing skills that can be immediately applied within their organizations.
The course is delivered in two structured phases. In the first phase, participants complete a one-hour, self-paced digital ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Awareness module. This online module introduces the ISO 9001 standard, its structure, principles, and requirements (Clauses 4–10), allowing learners to study at their own pace and gain essential background knowledge before the live session.
The second phase consists of a one-day, instructor-led internal auditing course conducted in a live virtual classroom. During this session, participants focus on the end-to-end internal audit process, including audit planning, document review, conducting audits, identifying and documenting nonconformities, reporting results, and following up on corrective actions. Learners are encouraged to actively engage with the instructor, ask questions, and discuss both the ISO 9001 standard and real-world auditing scenarios.
This blended approach ensures that participants arrive at the live session well-prepared, enabling deeper discussion, hands-on exercises, and a practical understanding of internal auditing techniques. By the end of the course, learners will be able to evaluate an organization’s QMS for conformity and effectiveness, contribute to continual improvement, and confidently support ISO 9001 compliance.Successful completion of both the self-paced module and the instructor-led course, including passing the required exams, is mandatory to receive the TÜV SÜD Academy certificate. PART A:
Participants must complete the 1-hour self-paced digital eLearning module before attending the instructor-led session in the virtual classroom. You will gain access to the self-paced content 2 weeks ahead of the scheduled virtual classroom session.
The online self-paced module of this course employs a variety of training tools such as content-embedded assessment, animations, and other interactive exercises to enhance instructional delivery. Easily accessible via your preferred choice of device, the course allows you to log in and learn whenever, wherever.
The content is supplemented by clear video sequences. With free time allocation, participants determine their own learning pace and check their learning success with the use of brief knowledge checks. Please be sure to have covered the digital self-paced modules before joining the instructor-led training session in the virtual classroom.
PART B:
The 1-day instructor-led training sessions isconducted in a virtual classroom. This means the course is Live Online. Participants will learn through online teaching. Lectures, case studies, group exercises, discussions, problem solving, examples with explanation, assignments and/or quizzes happen in the virtual classroom training. Participants need to connect to the class from any internet accessible location. Each module is delivered live using webinar technology, creating a virtual classroom learning environment. Live sessions provide you with direct access to the trainer so you can ask questions, understand complex concepts and share ideas with peers. Webcam and microphone are REQUIRED to interact with the instructor and/or other participants.
The course content and structure are designed by the domain experts from TÜV SÜD. With immense experience and knowledge in the relevant standards, our team of product specialists and technical experts at TÜV SÜD, developed the course content based on current business landscape and market requirements.
By performing exercises and group discussions, attendees will develop a hands-on understanding that will facilitate the understanding and the implementation of knowledge and concepts.
Learners must obtain a copy of the ISO standard to be referenced during the course. The standard may be purchased through the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) (www.ansi.org) and/or American Society for Quality (ASQ) (www.asq.org).
Prior knowledge of the ISO 9000 standard is required to excel in this training.
