TÜV SÜD is designated by regulators in Singapore, Brunei, USA and Canada as Conformity Assessment Body. With the designations, we are able to issue certificates of conformity for products that meet the telecommunication regulations in the respective countries. TÜV SÜD PSB also represents TÜV SÜD group to provide the radio equipment directive 2014/53/EU (RED) conformity assessment services.

Our services

IMDA Equipment Registration Framework (Singapore)

TÜV SÜD is designated as Certification Body by Infocomm Development Media Authority of Singapore (IMDA) under the Designation Scheme for Testing Laboratory and Certification Body. We are able to support suppliers on the review of documents for your equipment, certification and registration.

FCC Certification (United States)

TÜV SÜD is a recognized Telecommunications Certification Body (TCB) of FCC (Federal Communications Commission of United States) to issue grants for a wide range of equipment.

ISED Certification (Canada)

TÜV SÜD is recognized by Industry Canada as a Foreign Certification Body (FCB). TÜV SÜD is authorized to issue type acceptance certificates in accordance with the Canadian radio communication requirements within the following scopes of recognition.

• Scope 1-Licence-Exempt Radio Frequency Devices
• Scope 2-Licensed Personal Mobile Radio Services
• Scope 3-Licensed General Mobile & Fixed Radio Services

The radio equipment directive 2014/53/EU (RED)

TÜV SÜD is authorized to support manufacturers of Radio and Telecommunication devices in achieving their “CE mark” if their products comply with the RED directive for export to European countries.

AITI Type Approval (Brunei)

TÜV SÜD is designated by Brunei Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) as Certification Body under AITI’s Scheme for Recognising Foreign Testing Laboratories and Certification Bodies for Conformity Assessment of Telecommunication Equipment.
