Understanding FSSC 22000 Version 7: What has changed and what organisations need to know
Version 7 of the FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System Certification Scheme was released on 1 May 2026.
This update is driven primarily by the integration of the ISO 22002:2025 series, alignment with the GFSI Benchmarking Requirements 2024, a more defined structure for the division of food chain (sub) categories, and strengthened requirements supporting organisations’ contributions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Organisations must address identified gaps within a 12-month transition period. Upgrade audits against Version 7 shall be conducted from 1 May 2027 until 30 April 2028.
This technical webinar provides a focused and practical overview of FSSC 22000 Version 7, helping organisations understand what has changed, why it matters, and how to prepare effectively for transition audits.
