Provision of Lift Maintenance Management Manager for a total of 28 Building with a total of 102 lifts.

This includes all Academic and Administrative buildings. These lifts are currently of various age, type, and manufacturer, consisting of passenger, passenger/goods, goods only and DDA vertical rise and inclined stair platform lifts.

TÜV SÜD Dunbar Boardman have been given the responsibility to identifying, planning, and delivering all elements of minor and major works with an annual budget to carry out the works.

Comprehensive condition report surveys are carried out covering all lifts. Condition reports are submitted.

The University has made significant investment in refurbishment / replacement projects in recent Years.

Maintenance Manager core duties have a pro-active approach.

Core Duties:

  1. Day-to-day operation of the lift equipment
  2. Management and compliance with Health and safety
  3. Testing, inspection, and certification
  4. Insurance inspections
  5. Minor upgrade works
  6. Management / auditing of annual maintenance agreements
  7. General Administration
