Papua New Guinea Authority extends call for comments for plan on 60GHz Band

The National Information and Communications Technology Authority in Papua New Guinea - NICTA – released a public consultation on 14th August regarding the 60GHz band and the potential allocation of the upper part of the 57 GHz to 71GHz band (66-71GHz) for FWA deployment and leaving the lower part of the band for unlicensed use.

The consultation has been extended and the new closing date for comments is now Wednesday 13th September. NICTA is extending the invitation to stakeholders and other interested parties to send comments via email to [email protected] or hand delivered to the NICTA Head Office
