On the 26th July, the IMDA Authority in Singapore – Infocomm Media Development Authority – announced plans to close 3G networks and services from the 31st Jul 2024.
New registrations and renewals of 3G-only mobile terminals and non-VoLTE capable mobile/smartphones will not be accepted by the Authority from 1st November, 2023.
The sale of these devices will not be allowed from 1st February 2024.
