TÜV SÜD BABT Receives ISO 17021 Certificate at UKAS Event

In March 2022, TÜV SÜD BABT obtained ISO 17021 accreditation and in January 2023, Mark Pope, Certification Body Manager, had the chance to attend the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) annual certificate awarding event.

Mark was pleased to receive the award on behalf of the organisation at the UKAS head office in Staines-Upon-Thames saying:

“The certificate was awarded to TUV SUD BABT UNLIMITED, in our capacity as a Certification Body. The Accreditation received was ISO/IEC 17021-1: 2015 – Conformity assessment – Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems. This includes Quality Management Systems for ISO 9001:2015 certification within our IAF 19 electrical and optical equipment accredited scopes, in association with our TÜV SÜD colleagues in the Business Assurance division.

It’s fantastic to be able to add this to TUV SUD BABT’s extremely broad range of existing ISO 17065 appointments, many of which were extended this year.”
