Internal Auditor Training Program on BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Version 9.0

This course enables the participants to undertake internal audits and prepare companies for third-party audits. The training is delivered via workshop-led discussions, presentations and an interactive case study. During the live case study, you will be given feedback and support to conduct an audit at your workplace.

• Food Safety Management representatives of an organization
• Professionals who have a role to play in internal auditing as per BRC standards.
• Operational, quality, and technical staff responsible for managing an internal auditing schedule.
• Personnel from certification body, consultants, technical and Quality Managers who are interested in learning about BRC internal auditing.

• Should have knowledge and / or working experience in Food Industry or related Industries.
• Organization planning / certified for BRC Global Standard.
• Before the course participants must have read and reviewed a copy of the standard which is available free of charge from the BRCGS Bookshop.

• Understand the roles and responsibilities of auditors.
• Be able to plan and conduct an internal audit.
• Know how to write concise, accurate and factual audit reports.
• Be able to undertake audit follow-up activities.

50% Course Participation, 50% Course Assignment - Workplace audit: Passing marks 75%. BRC would issue the “Internal Auditor” certificate.

BRC Internal Auditor certification will be issued within 21 working days from the examination date.
