1. WHY TRAIN WITH TÜV SÜD?

The Academy Division of TÜV SÜD South Asia has been catering to the learning needs of professionals in India, Bangladesh, and other English-speaking countries for over two decades. With more than 200 training topics, your desired training is sure to be there.

2. HOW CAN I ENROLL IN THE COURSES?

You can register to a course on the store website as a guest user or by creating user account.
The data entered at the time of registration, either as "Company" or as "Individual", will be used to prepare the invoice.
Account creation is free, and registered users can manage their accounts and review their order history from the My Account section.

3. WHEN ARE THE CLASSROOM/VIRTUALTRAINING SCHEDULED CONFIRMED?

The courses would be confirmed at the sole discretion of TÜV SÜD South Asia Academy upon reaching the minimum number of participants (this number varies depending on the type of course). We will send an email tentatively 5 working days before the start date of the course.

The participant must proceed with the payment of the registration in the courses via online payment.

TÜV SÜD South Asia Academy undertakes to give notice of the confirmation/ cancellation/modification in relation to the location and/or date of a course/event within 5 working days before the start date of the course. All communications are sent to the email address submitted by the customer during registration.

4. HOW CAN I CANCEL MY BOOKING?

To cancel your booking, please refer to Cancellation and Refund policy.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF POSTPONEMENT AND CANCELLATION OF THE TRAINING?

TÜV SÜD South Asia, Academy Division reserves the right to postpone or cancel the scheduled training by informing the interested parties; in cases of cancellation, TÜV SÜD South Asia, Academy Division obligation is to reimburse the amount received.

5. HOW DOES BILLING AND PAYMENTS WORK?

To complete the enrollment for the course, fees to be paid online through payment gateway using any debit / credit cards, wallets, UPI, etc.
Please input the GST number correctly. Once created, an invoice with the GST number entered at the time of registration cannot be modified.
TÜV SÜD South Asia disclaims any liability for any GST claims that are failed because of an inaccurate GST number.
Upon completion of the course, an invoice will be generated for the company or individual name that was given during registration.

6. DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?

7. WHAT LEARNING FORMATS DO YOU USE AND WHERE DO THE TRAINING TAKE PLACE?

Information on the format and location of the training is included in the booking confirmation email. The location and course delivery method will be explained in detail, but generally:

  • Face-to-face courses: Trainings delivered in classrooms or at affiliated hotels by authorized academy trainer.
  • Virtual Instructor Led courses: On virtual platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams, training is entirely provided in virtual mode by authorized academy trainers.
  • Blended courses: Training that offers a hybrid approach by combining:
    • Flexible online self-learning (e-learning) followed by face-to-face or online (VILT) classroom learning with a trainer and other participants.
    • A first general module delivered online, followed by an all-inclusive face-to-face session in classrooms or at an affiliated hotel and vice a versa.
  • E-learning courses: Practical, flexible self-learning training content, delivered through our digital platform, "Digital Academy". Further refer to point number 11 to 16.

8. ARE REFRESHMENTS AND LUNCH INCLUDED IN THE TRAINING?

Yes for face-to-face training, we provide morning and afternoon tea, coffee breaks, and lunch at the place where the training sessions take place, which is included in the training fees.

ARE THERE ADDITIONAL SERVICES PROVIDED WITH THE TRAINING?

In addition to coffee breaks and lunches, TÜV SÜD South Asia, Academy Division will provide hard copy of course material in face-to-face and soft copy of course material in virtual mode of training on an "all inclusive" basis.

9. CAN THE TRAINING ALSO BE DELIVERED AT THE CUSTOMER'S PREMISES?

Yes, TÜV SÜD South Asia, Academy Division can organize training at the client's location upon request.

10. ARE THERE ANY RULES FOR ATTENDEES?

CLASSROOM TRAINING

Participants are required to:

  • Use materials and equipment belonging to TÜV SÜD South Asia, Academy Division with the utmost care;
  • Refrain from making video and/or audio recordings or taking photographs at the course venues, or during the courses themselves;
  • Acknowledge that the material distributed in the classroom is the property of TÜV SÜD South Asia, Academy Division and undertake not to make copies of such material, not to transfer it to third parties and not to deliver the course content or enable a third party to deliver the course content, not to carry out or have carried out such courses by others;
  • Comply with the safety regulations specified by the course location.

ONLINE TRAINING

  • Precautions for participants useful for the success of the course in On-line mode:
  • Have a working Internet connection, preferably one with a high speed for enhanced functionality.
  • Use a browser that supports Flash Player, such as Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Firefox.
  • Follow the course from a place that is appropriate to concentration: away from noise and with a possibility of not being interrupted.
  • Shut down any programmes (such as chat, email, or other programmes) on your computer that might be a distraction.
  • Keep yourself muted and only unmute when required, such as to ask a question or participate to a discussion.
  • If the email address you want to use to participate differs from the one you provided at registration, kindly let us know. You will not be able to attend the event without the Academy team's email invitation.
  • We recommend verifying the connection before attending the classroom at least 15 minutes earlier
  • Regardless of the number of participants from the same organization, each participant must attend the course using their own computer or laptop.

11. AFTER COMPLETING THE TRAINING, WILL I RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE?

Yes. According to the type of training, you will receive an e-certificate in PDF format. For details, see the pages for each training.

In the case of self-sponsored participants, the certificate will be provided to the participant's email address. For organisation sponsored participants, the certificate will be sent to the organisation SPOC that was submitted at the time of course registration. You will receive it within 15–21 working days of the course's completion, subject to receipt of payment.

A certificate will be issued to the participant based on the information entered during registration. Changes made after the certificate has been issued will incur additional fees.

The TÜV SÜD South Asia, Academy Division retains the right to defer sending certificates in the case of non-payment or to extend the payment term.

12. WHAT ARE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR E-LEARNING COURSE?

Supported browsers include:

  • Chrome
  • Safari
  • Internet Explorer
  • Firefox

Additional requires include:

  • A high-speed internet connection will provide best results.
  • An email address is required to register for courses.
  • Microsoft Media Player or equivalent is needed to play audio and video files.
  • Flash Player is used for content and interactive learning. If necessary, download and install Flash Player to ensure proper operation of course content.

13. WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE COURSE?

Each course will include access to e-learning content, quizzes, and proof of completion. Additional resources may also be included, and this will vary by course.

14. CAN I PAUSE THE COURSE AND LOG IN TO IT ANYTIME?

Certainly. The course allows the learner to take a break and return to it within the defined access period (typically 365 days).

15. ARE THERE ANY QUIZZES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COURSE?

Our e-learning courses are designed to promote interaction between learner and content and often include quizzes. Quizzes are designed to help understand where successful learning has been achieved, and where opportunities for additional review exist.

16. CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CANCEL MY ENROLLMENT?

Refunds cannot be provided once a course is activated. Please be sure to review course information prior to activation.

17. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T FINISH THE COURSE WITHIN THE ACCESS PERIOD?

The standard access period is 365 days to allow sufficient time to complete your course.
