What is CE marking? Our CE marking training course provides a practical approach to what you need to know to place your products on the market and into service.

The course covers the principles of CE marking for all fields, drawing on examples from our knowledge and experience with consumer products, children's products, electrical goods, and electronics.

COURSE OBJECTIVE:

Delegates will gain a good understanding of the key issues relating to CE marking, from the principles to the actual requirements that need to be satisfied. This will include some practical skills to enable you to implement and manage these requirements within your company.

This includes, design engineers, project managers, engineering managers, approvals engineers, quality managers, sales managers. In particular those who sign the Declaration of Conformity. This course is intended to inform those that do not already understand CE marking requirements and to clarify and reinforce the understanding of those already familiar with the concepts.

ALASTAIR MCLAUGHLIN

Senior Engineer and Product Safety Specialist, TÜV SÜD

Alastair McLaughlin is a Senior Engineer and Product Safety Specialist at TÜV SÜD and has worked in Consumer Product Testing and Compliance Management since 1993.

Alastair has previously worked in PCB fabrication, major retailers' suppliers, major children's product manufacturers., and has worked at TUV SUD since 2009.
