The European Union Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 has entered into force with the objective of regulating the entire lifecycle of batteries to provide better protection for the environment and consumers. Starting from 18 August 2024, CE marking's compliance assessment will be mandatory and batteries without the CE marking will not be allowed to be sold in the EU market.
