Condition Based Maintenance in Fluid Flow Measurement

Webinar

Webinar

To maintain the reliability and accuracy of measurement outputs from flow meters they are typically calibrated under fixed time-intervals, for example once every year - time-based calibration (TBC) - and typically repaired only when a failure occurs – reactive maintenance. However, as the world continues to digitalise, there is an increased interest in adopting techniques to analyse data and enable condition-based maintenance (CBM) and condition-based calibration (CBC), whereby the need to repair or recalibrate flow meters is dependent on their condition. The CBM and CBC approaches ensure that no meters are taken out of operation for unnecessary maintenance or calibration, reducing downtime and minimising OPEX for the operator.

This webinar will focus on how both “traditional” and “modern” metering technologies can be used in CBM and CBC methodologies.
