On 08 March 2022, the Argentine Director of National Communications, ENACOM published Resolution No 280 to amend Resolution No 551/2021, which amends Resolution No. 507, 2018 on Technical Standard ENACOM-Q2-60.14 V18.1 on Test Methods for Low Power Radio Equipment.
This Resolution amends the Annex of Resolution No. 551 /2021 on frequency bands assigned to be used by low power devices and approves Technical Standard ENACOMQ2-60.14 V21.1 on Low Power Devices, contained in Annex II of this Resolution. Consequently, this Resolution repeals Article 2 of Resolution No. 551/2021.
According to Article 4, the Resolution established a transition period of 90 calendar days from 08.03.2022, within which all new and pending applications for low power devices registration in the Registry of Telecommunications Activities and Materials (RAMATEL) will be accepted, and may be evaluated in accordance with the minimum conditions and test methods required by Technical Standard ENACOM-Q2-60.14 V20.1.
This Resolution entered into force on 16.03.2022 according to the Argentinian rule.
