TÜV SÜD has announced internal promotions to key leadership roles to strengthen service delivery and drive business growth in the areas of lift consultancy and inspections services.
Richard Booth has been promoted from Regional Director and from the end of May will lead the consultancy services, ensuring they align with TÜV SÜD’s strategic objectives in the UK and Ireland. He will also continue to provide specialist advice to clients, helping them meet regulatory requirements and optimise asset performance. Richard said:
"Our consultancy services play a crucial role in keeping clients’ assets safe and compliant. I look forward to working closely with our clients to provide tailored solutions that improve efficiency and reliability."
In another internal promotion, Philip Welsman has progressed from Associate Director to become Regional Director of the London area. Philip is looking forward to his new role, saying:
“I am pleased to be appointed as Regional Director for London where I'll continue working with our talented team to deliver expert consultancy services to our clients, ensuring safety and efficiency in their operations.”
David Hope will oversee the LCC inspection services portfolio, ensuring high-quality service delivery for inspections including LOLER, PSSR, and PUWER. He’ll also play a pivotal role in expanding TÜV SÜD’s presence in the inspection sector, reinforcing the company’s reputation as a trusted name in the industry. David commented:
"Inspection services are at the heart of ensuring safety and compliance. My priority is to continue building a strong, responsive team that provides even greater value to both new and existing clients."
Eleanor Bryce has been promoted to Strategic Director, where she will drive innovation in digital inspection technologies, inspection optimisation, and sustainability. She aims to enhance efficiency and support clients in adopting future-ready asset management strategies whilst maintaining the highest customer service standards.
Eleanor said:
"I’m excited to explore new technologies that will streamline inspections and improve long-term asset performance for our clients."
