TÜV SÜD Judge World Energy Supply Chain Awards 2024

29 August 2024

Jim Holt and Ewan Fisher were selected as judges for the prestigious World Energy Supply Chain Awards 2024, a significant date in the energy industry's calendar.

The Energy Industries Council (EIC) announced that the judging team assessed some incredible success stories from 134 companies across 15 categories. This year's awards promise to showcase the most innovative and resilient players in the energy supply chain.

"We're thrilled to be part of this esteemed panel," said Jim Holt, Head of Business Development for TÜV SÜD National Engineering Laboratory. "The calibre of entries this year is truly exceptional, reflecting the industry's commitment to innovation and sustainability."

The awards draw attention to the remarkable success stories detailed in the EIC Survive & Thrive Report 2024. This comprehensive document offers invaluable insights into the strategies and innovations that have propelled companies forward in challenging times.

Ewan Fisher, Head of Organisational Change, added:

“These awards celebrate outstanding achievements and innovations in the energy supply chain globally. I really enjoyed judging the “Culture” category, which is a topic we put front & centre in all decision-making at TÜV SÜD, so it was fascinating to read about how other companies and individuals in the energy industry have unlocked the potential of their businesses with a similar focus.“

Industry professionals can join the celebrations by attending the prestigious industry awards ceremony in London on 10 October. The evening will be hosted by actor and comedian, Rob Brydon, and honour the winners but also provide unparalleled networking opportunities. For more information on attending these ceremonies, visit the EIC Awards 2024 page.

The EIC, known for its pivotal role in supporting the energy sector, continues to drive progress through its diverse range of membership benefits, products, and services.

We are also looking forward to welcoming the EIC to Aberdeen in October as sponsor for the upcoming Global Flow Measurement Workshop (GFMW). This world-leading event brings together experts from across the energy spectrum to discuss cutting-edge technologies and industry challenges and includes technical presentations and expert panel discussions on key measurement topic. 2024 is the third time that the EIC have sponsored the event underscoring their commitment to fostering collaboration in the energy industry.

As the energy sector continues to evolve, events like the World Energy Supply Chain Awards and the Global Flow Measurement Workshop play crucial roles in recognising excellence and fostering innovation.
