Our experts support you with qualification testing and type examination of detectors, leak test systems and exhaust analysers, taking currently applicable national and European regulations into account.

We also assist you with the calibration of temperature measuring instruments and pressure gauges to ensure your products meet the required product criteria.

Calibration guarantees that measurement and monitoring equipment operates within the defined range of accuracy. It compares measurement and monitoring equipment with the reference standards of the German Calibration Service (Deutscher Kalibrierdienst, D-K-14153-01-00), which are based on the national standards of the German National Metrology Institute (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, PTB).

Our calibration laboratory holds DAkkS accreditation in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17025. This accreditation applies exclusively to the scope defined in the Appendix to the accreditation certificate D-K-14153-01-00.

Based on a multilateral agreement concluded between the EA (European Cooperation for Accreditation) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), the calibration certificates issued by TÜV SÜD are recognised in most European countries and in several non-European countries.

Detectors and leak test systems
Our services:
- Type examination of measuring and monitoring equipment for determining gas leakage volumes on low-pressure gas lines in accordance with DVGW standard G 600.
- Type examination of measuring instruments used for 4-Pascal tests, i.e. for measuring the underpressure in rooms with fireplaces.
- Type examination of leak test systems used for testing class N, P and H chimney systems (EN 1443) and regulated suction devices in accordance with DVGW standard G 625.
Test specifications:
- DVGW G 5952:2014-04.
- The policy of the Federal Association of Chimney Sweeps – Central Guild Association (ZIV) - governing qualification testing of differential pressure gauges to measure underpressure in rooms with fireplaces.
- The policy of the Federal Association of Chimney Sweeps – Central Guild Association (ZIV) - governing qualification testing of leak test systems used for the testing of class N, P and H chimney systems (EN 1443) and regulated suction systems in accordance with DVGW standard G 625.
Exhaust analyser
