The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) is set to reshape the EU market by introducing binding requirements on recyclability, reuse, recycled content and packaging minimisation.
With obligations starting from August 2026, the regulation will impact industries where packaging plays a critical role, including consumer electronics, retail, e-commerce, food & beverage, cosmetics and logistics.
Companies operating in these sectors will need to reassess packaging design, supplier engagement, data management and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations to ensure compliance across multiple EU markets.
Beyond regulatory compliance, PPWR introduces new operational and strategic challenges—from packaging classification and documentation to recyclability performance and reuse systems.
In this webinar, TÜV SÜD experts will present:
Join us to understand how the PPWR will affect your industry—and how early preparation can become a source of competitive differentiation.
