Bringing together individuals from the entire supply chain
27-29 October 2020, P&J Live, Aberdeen
Innovation drives growth and this is especially true in the energy industry. In today’s economic climate, if companies are not innovating then they can become outdated. It is important now, more than ever, to stay ahead of developments in technology, regulation and practice and ensure your company remains ahead of its competitors. The North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop continues to meet these challenges head on.
Maintaining its reputation for first-class technical content and delegate participation, the Workshop continues to deliver fantastic knowledge sharing and networking opportunities for delegates.
The theme this year is technical innovation, and how this relates to the current and future outlook for flow measurement. The Workshop will continue to focus on the global oil & gas sector but also create the opportunity to explore challenges for the wider energy sector as the energy transition continues to be a strategic priority for many stakeholders.
The Technical Committee, comprised of leading flow measurement experts, is interested in papers representing all aspects of flow measurement, however the following topics are particularly relevant:
Running for nearly 40 years and alternating between Scotland and Norway, the North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop combines presentations, discussion sessions and exhibition areas. It is the single most important event in the flow measurement calendar.
Everyone who undertakes flow measurement or relies on flow measurement systems and outputs should attend. The Workshop will also be of particular value to designers, facilities and operations engineers, production engineers, flow assurance and allocation experts, consultants and researchers from operating, contracting, consultancy and technology organisations.
The abstracts will be reviewed by an expert committee made up of end users, manufacturers and industry regulator:
They will select the strongest abstracts to form the event’s technical programme.
There are two options for delivering material:
These will be accompanied by a written technical paper which will be published in the workshop proceedings.
Building on the success of Aberdeen location two years ago, the 2020 Workshop will continue to be held in Europe’s oil and gas capital. The venue will be Aberdeen’s brand new exhibition and conference centre (P&J Live), boasting the most modern conference facilities in the country, a tailor-made venue for an event of this nature.
