ASMEA Flow Measurement Workshop

ASMEA Flow Measurement Workshop 2025

How, Why & Where to Measure?

DATES:  29 – 30 April 2025

LOCATION: Radisson Blu Corniche, Abu Dhabi

TÜV SÜD is delighted to host its first flow measurement workshop in the ASMEA region.  Building on the success of our European events, most recently in Aberdeen in October 2024, we are looking forward to bringing together the metering and measurement community to share best practice and learn about the innovations shaping the industry.

Across two-days this technical conference will provide a fundamental understanding of common measurement topics such as the importance of measurement, measurement uncertainty and real-world application.  Attendees will be those involved in and with an interest in metering, measurement and custody transfer.  A limited number of tickets which include a training course on Monday 28 April will also be available.

Call for Abstracts – Deadline 14 February 2025

Papers are invited before 14 February from upstream, midstream and downstream organisations across the energy sector.  The Committee is interested in receiving papers representing all aspects of flow measurement, uncertainty, and quality improvement. The following topics are of particular interest:

  • Field experience in all areas.
  • Measurement of emissions, including top-down & bottom-up measurement approaches and compositional analysis.
  • CCUS and Hydrogen
  • Transmission, networks and pipelines.
  • Artificial Intelligence applications in flow measurement.
  • New technologies & innovations improving quality of measurement.
