Transmitting Equipment on 28 November 2019. In addition, an equipment list and technical requirements for micropower short-range radio transmitting equipment were issued as an annex of the Announcement. In the same day, MIIT also issued an implementation of the Announcement in a form of Q&A, in which MIIT provided official explanations on several interesting points.
There is no requirement for qualified micropower equipment to apply for a Radio Frequency License, Radio station setting and use permission, or Radio transmitting equipment type approval.
This Announcement includes regulations of all aspects of micropower equipment production, import, sales, and use. It also indicates the scope and management limits of micropower devices. The annex catalogs the newest types of micropower devices, and illustrates technical requirements such as operating frequency, transmit power, and operating bandwidth of below 8 types of newest micropower devices:
