Recently, the Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) Laboratory of TÜV SÜD Greater China in Shanghai is granted EMC testing recognition by Mazda Motor Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Mazda"). Obtaining this EMC testing recognition marks the high affirmation of TÜV SÜD Greater China's capabilities in laboratory management system, personnel competence, technical expertise and equipment traceability by an internationally renowned auto manufacturer. It further strengthens TÜV SÜD Greater China's prospect and influence in the automotive electronics EMC area.

EMC testing and certification have always been paid close attention in the automotive industry, and EMC laboratory recognition is regarded as one of the highest valued technical recognition in this industry. During the evaluation, the reviewing expert panel from Mazda has conducted a multi-dimension field examination on TÜV SÜD Greater China Shanghai EMC laboratory in respect to lab quality system documents, testing equipment, testing environment, safety measurement, field operation and testing report, in accordance with MES PW 67602C 2015 and FMC 1278. Meanwhile, they have witnessed testing demonstrations for every individual item covered by the recognition and made a comprehensive assessment of the operation details based on the standards.
Besides, the expert panel exchanged relevant technical matters with TÜV SÜD Greater China's EMC engineer team. After evaluation, the reviewing experts have given high comments on the system operation, technical management and testing capabilities of TÜV SÜD Greater China Shanghai EMC laboratory. They have expressed that the EMC laboratory of TÜV SÜD Greater China is fully qualified and meets Mazda's requirements for an EMC testing institution for their automotive electronics suppliers, and confirmed the qualification of TÜV SÜD Greater China Shanghai EMC laboratory as a third-party EMC testing laboratory officially recognized by Mazda.
