TÜV SÜD Empowers Future Leaders through Student Placements with the Centre for Leadership Performance

Future Leaders Student Placements Centre for Leadership PerformanceEarlier this year TÜV SÜD participated in the Centre for Leadership Performance's (CforLP) Dream Placement initiative in Cumbria. As an employer committed to empowering the next generation of leaders and fostering meaningful connections with the local community, we recognise the immense value of such initiatives. The successful collaboration allowed us to nurture and develop the leadership potential of young individuals while providing valuable experiences for both the students and the company.

During the week-long program in February 2023, TÜV SÜD’s Warrington office hosted two ambitious students offering them a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience and enhance their leadership skills. The experience helped us directly contribute to achieving the UN SDG 8 of decent work and economic growth. This goal focuses on promoting sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all. Our involvement actively supported the development of a skilled and empowered workforce and the students agreed that the experience had been very beneficial.

Laura Bethel posted on social media saying:

“Thank you to TÜV SÜD for having me on a Dream Placement. I have completed lots of mini projects researching nuclear waste management and sustainability and can't wait to give my presentation.”

A post from Katia Smith read:

Thank you to Katia and Laura for making it such an enjoyable week. You did a fantastic job and we wish you both all the best for your bright futures.”
