Tell us about yourself

I have been working at TÜV SÜD since April 2023 and am a Project Manager in the Global Market Access team. I studied Spanish and Italian at university and have been working in the GMA industry for 3 years now. My highlight was becoming a Project Manager as I love working with clients as well as suppliers and helping them with their Type Approval certifications and making the process as smooth as possible.

Why did you choose to apply to TÜV SÜD?

I chose to apply for a job at TÜV SÜD because I felt that it was a great career opportunity and a place where I could really grow my knowledge and skills in this industry.

Where do you work?

I work fully remotely in London but come into the office once a month to see the team.

What are your main areas of expertise?

GMA in EMEA and LATAM regions and researching worldwide.

What does your role involve?

Global Market Access worldwide as well as research tasks, regulatory research and changes within each region and building the GMA team! We also provide regular blog updates and webinars to help keep our customers up to date which I am also involved with.

What most excites/interests you about your role?

What excites me most about my role is the progression opportunities and building relationships with new and existing clients. Since starting at TÜV SÜD, I’ve really enjoyed meeting and working with my team – they’ve been so welcoming and supportive.

What future trends do you see developing in your area of work?

There are already lots of developments happening but I think in the next few years there will be a lot of interest in 5G/6G deployment, Wi-Fi 6E, cybersecurity and eco-design/energy efficiency.

What is your biggest challenge?

I would say non-wireless products and their requirements for GMA. My past experience has always been with wireless products so there is a lot to learn but I have a great team and great suppliers to work with.

What do you see as the top perk of working for TÜV SÜD?

I would say the top perks are my colleagues, the career opportunities and training.

How have TÜV SÜD supported you?

Even though I am a fully remote worker, I do not feel alone and am always supported by my colleagues. They are always checking in on me, we have regular meetings and they have been answering any questions I’ve had.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking of applying for a role similar to yours?

I would say come and join the GMA team! We have got some great opportunities and projects coming up and are building a great team.
