Philippines: Memorandum Circular, MC 01-02-2020 amends frequency bands of 314.9-315 MHz band for the Use and Operation of Short Range Devices

The Memorandum Circular, MC amendment enters into force on 29 February 2020, fifteen days after its official publication.

In 14 February 2020, the Philippine National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) published an amendment to section 2 of Memorandum Circular, MC 03-05-2007 be including the band of 314.9-315 MHz. This amendment makes clarifications on the Band range in terms of frequency, and the Maximum Field Strength/RF Output Power for short range devices, telemetry, telecommand, alarms, data in general and other similar applications.
